Montessori House Brussels is an independent international school that opened its doors in 2006 and is the first bilingual (English and French) Montessori school in the Brussels area. The school is located in the heart of the city, on Square Montgomery, on number 177, Avenue de Tervuren, close to the European Union Institutions. It is housed in a beautiful 19th century townhouse with a charming garden and playground.

Montessori House Brussels follows a modern Montessori programme where children are challenged to develop their full potential. In addition to the academic curricular activities, the school offers music, physical education, poetry, arts and crafts and performing arts as part of the weekly programme (including swimming for children from 4 years onwards). The children perform concerts and plays for parents twice a year and furthermore the school organises field trips each term to museums and local events.

The school has three classes for children between 2 ½  to 6 years.

At the age of six, after having graduated from Montessori House Brussels, children are well prepared to either continue in Montessori education e.g. at International Montessori ‘Hof Kleinenberg’ (http://www.international-montessori.org) or to attend any European, Belgian or International school.

Within reach (50 metres) you find International School Montgomery (EIM), located in a 20th century mansion with a beautifully landscaped garden. Within a solid ‘classical’ teaching method in an atmosphere of respect, it offers quality bilingual education, aiming at an all-round excellence, where the development of personal values such as integrity, curiosity, tolerance, creativity, enthusiasm, friendship and courage is of great importance.
